Mastering Your Mind is a structured wellbeing programme created for schools.
It was developed in response to a growing need for practical, values-led resources that are easy for teachers to deliver and meaningful for students to use.
The programme is based on the award-winning book Mastering Your Mind by psychotherapist Yaakov Barr. While the original book supported thousands of young people individually, schools asked for a more structured resource that could be taught in classrooms and embedded into school life. The workbook programme was created to meet that need.
The programme combines:
• Proven cognitive-behavioural approaches
• Practical tools and life skills students can use
• Engaging activities and discussion
• Clear structure that supports learning and reflection
Key themes include confidence, emotional awareness, friendships, habits, stress, and resilience.
• Structured, time-efficient lessons
• Suitable for mixed-ability and neurodiverse learners
• Practical, non-clinical language
• No specialist training required
Rooted in strong Jewish values and perspectives, and aligned with UK PSHE and U.S. SEL frameworks, the programme is suitable for schools in the UK, the US, and internationally.
